Walking
From the Avarua Market in the town center, head east on Ara Tapu Road (the main road). Continue for about 1.5 kilometers. After approximately 20 minutes, look for signs indicating the direction to Pa Monument. Turn left onto a smaller road and walk straight for another 500 meters until you reach the monument on your right. There are no costs associated with walking.
Public Transport
Take a local bus from the Avarua Market towards Avatiu. Ask the driver to let you off at the nearest stop to the junction leading to Pa Monument. Continue walking east on Ara Tapu Road for about 500 meters, then turn left towards the monument. Bus fare is approximately $5 NZD.

From Avarua, a taxi ride to the Pa Monument is a short trip. Expect to pay between $4 and $6 NZD. The journey should take around 3 minutes.
