From anywhere on Rarotonga's main road (Ara Tapu), catch either the clockwise or anti-clockwise bus. Buses operate frequently, except on Sundays, and will stop anywhere along the main road. Wave down the bus as it approaches. Get off the bus at Vaimaanga. Ariki Adventures is located in Are Tapu, Takitumu District. From the main road, it is a short walk inland to Ariki Adventures. A single bus fare is NZ$5.

They offer premium sea scooter experiences with safe, guided encounters with turtles in the Avaavaroa Passage. Ariki Adventures has won the Air New Zealand Eco-Tourism award and the Air New Zealand Kia Orana Spirit award in 2020.
The Turtle Sea Scooter Safari is a popular tour that lasts approximately 2.5 hours. Guests receive an introduction on how to use a sea scooter and take a short test in shallow waters. Once on tour, experienced guides lead guests into deeper waters to see turtles, eagle rays, moray eels, tropical fish, and reef sharks. Ariki Adventures also offers the Shipwreck Sea Scooter Safari, where guests can explore a 100-year-old shipwreck. Other tours include the Lagoon Sea Scooter Discovery and a nighttime paddle tour on paddleboards.
