If starting from Cook's Corner in Avarua, take either the Clockwise or Anti-Clockwise bus. Hula Bar is located along the main road in Nikao, near the airport. Clockwise Bus: Departs Cook's Corner on the hour, every hour, from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM, Monday to Saturday. Anti-Clockwise Bus: Departs Cook's Corner at half-past the hour, every hour, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday, and from 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM on Saturdays. Get off the bus near the Islander Hotel, directly opposite the airport. The bus fare is NZ$5 for a single ride.
