From Fira, the capital of Santorini, head to the central bus station located just a short walk from the main square. Purchase a ticket for the bus to Ios, which operates several times a day. The bus will take you to the ferry port of Athinios. Once at the port, catch a ferry to Ios. The ferry ride takes approximately 1 hour. Upon arrival at Ios, take a local bus or taxi to Kolitsani Beach, which is well-signposted. The beach is about a 10-minute drive from the port.

To reach Kolitsani Beach, you must first take a ferry from Santorini to Ios. Ferries leave from the Athinios port after you have reached there via bus from Fira. Once on the ferry, enjoy the scenic views of the Aegean Sea. After arriving at Ios port, you can either take a local bus or a taxi to Kolitsani Beach. The local bus service is reliable, and the bus stop is located right outside the port. Look for the bus heading to 'Kolitsani' or 'Chora'.

If you prefer to explore on foot after arriving in Ios, you can walk from the main town (Chora) to Kolitsani Beach.
