From Trieste city center, walk to the main bus station, which is located at Piazza della Libertà. Look for the bus line heading to Idrija. The journey will take approximately 2 hours. Once you arrive in Idrija, disembark at the main bus stop. From there, walk straight along the main road until you reach Kosovelova ulica. Turn left onto Kosovelova ulica, and the Anthony's Shaft Mining Museum will be on your right.

Begin at Trieste Centrale train station. Take a train towards Jesenice and get off at the station in Most na Soči. From Most na Soči, look for the local bus service that connects to Idrija. After about 30 minutes on the bus, you will reach Idrija. Get off at the main bus stop, and then walk along the main road until you reach Kosovelova ulica. Turn left onto Kosovelova ulica, and the Anthony's Shaft Mining Museum will be on your right.
