From Trieste, head to the Trieste Centrale train station. Purchase a ticket to Divača, Slovenia. The train ride takes approximately 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Divača station, exit the station and turn left onto the road leading to the town center. Follow the signs to the Skocjan Caves, which are about a 30-minute walk from the station. You will walk along a scenic route, passing through the beautiful countryside.

Take bus number 28 from Trieste bus station, which is located near the train station. The bus will take you to Divača. After about 1 hour of travel, get off at the Divača bus stop. From there, follow the signs towards Skocjan Caves. It is approximately a 30-minute walk from the bus stop to the caves. You will need to walk along the main road, and then follow the signs leading to the cave entrance.
