From Trieste, head to the main bus station, Stazione Autolinee Trieste. You can take bus number 64 towards Pazin. The journey will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Once you reach the Pazin bus station, exit the bus and walk straight for about 10 minutes until you see the signs for Pazin Castle (Trg istarskog razvoda 1). The castle is located at the top of the hill, so you may notice a slight incline.

Take a train from Trieste Centrale to the nearest station, which is in the town of Buzet. Once you arrive at Buzet, look for the local bus service that goes to Pazin. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. From the Pazin bus station, it’s a short 10-minute walk to Pazin Castle. Follow the signs or ask locals for directions if needed.
