From the parking area, you can access the hiking trail that leads to the top of the hill.

    To reach Wakakusayama Hill using public transportation, take the Kintetsu Nara Line from Nara Station to Kintetsu Nara Station. Upon arriving at Kintetsu Nara Station, exit the station and head toward the bus terminal. Take the Nara Kotsu Bus on route 70, which goes to Kasuga Taisha Shrine. Get off at the Kasuga Taisha Shrine stop. From there, follow the signs to Wakakusayama Hill (approximately a 20-minute uphill walk). Make sure to check the bus schedule as buses may not run frequently.
