Car
From central Kyoto, head east on Sanjo-dori Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Higashioji-dori. Turn left onto Higashioji-dori and continue for about 1.5 km. Keep an eye out for the signs directing you towards 'Higashiyama' as you approach the area. Turn right onto Shimokawara-cho, and you will find Ryōzen Kannon Temple at 526-2 Shimokawaracho on your left. There is limited parking available nearby, so plan accordingly.
Bus
From Kyoto Station, take the bus number 100 or 206 towards 'Higashiyama' and get off at the 'Higashiyama Yasuijinja' stop. After disembarking, head back a short distance to the intersection and turn left onto Shimokawara-cho. Walk straight for about 5 minutes, and you will arrive at Ryōzen Kannon Temple, located at 526-2 Shimokawaracho.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Kyoto. Simply tell the driver 'Ryōzen Kannon Temple' or provide the address: 526-2 Shimokawaracho, Higashiyama Ward. The ride from central Kyoto should take approximately 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic.
Bicycle
If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle from various rental shops in Kyoto. Start from the city center and head east along the Kamo River. Cross over to Sanjo-dori Street and continue east until you reach Higashioji-dori. Turn left and follow the directions for cars, turning right onto Shimokawara-cho. The temple will be on your left after a short ride.
