From Kyoto Station, take the Karasuma Line subway (Line K) towards Kokusaikaikan. Ride for about 15 minutes and get off at Kitaoji Station. At Kitaoji Station, leave through Exit 1. Once outside, walk to the bus stop and board bus number 204 or 205 (Daitoku-ji Temple direction). After approximately 10-15 minutes, get off at the Daitoku-ji bus stop. From there, Daitoku-ji Ryogen-in is a short 5-minute walk. Follow the signs towards Daitoku-ji Temple, and you will find Ryogen-in easily.
