Public Bus
From Nara Station, head to the bus terminal located just outside the station. Take the Kintetsu Nara Line bus towards Kyoto. This bus typically operates every 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Kyoto Station, transfer to the Kyoto City Bus. Board the Number 100 or 206 bus heading towards Gion. Get off at the Gion stop. From there, it's about a 10-minute walk. Head north on Shijo-dori, then turn right onto Miyagawasuji street. The Miyagawacho Kaburenjo (Mai Hall) will be on your left.

Train
From Nara Station, take the Kintetsu Nara Line towards Kyoto. The journey will take approximately 45 minutes. Get off at Kiyomizu-Gojo Station. From the station, walk towards Kiyomizu Temple, and then head towards Gion. Follow the signs to Gion and Miyagawasuji street. Once there, turn left and walk straight for about 5 minutes; Miyagawacho Kaburenjo (Mai Hall) will be on your right.

Walking
If you are staying in central Nara, you can enjoy a leisurely walk to Kyoto. Head from Nara Park towards the Naramachi area, following the signs to the Kintetsu Nara Line. Once you reach the line, walk along until you find Kiyomizu-Dera. Continue walking towards Kyoto City, which will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Upon reaching Kyoto, head towards Gion, and finally to Miyagawasuji street where the Miyagawacho Kaburenjo (Mai Hall) is located.
