Getting There

  • Car

    If you are traveling by car, start from central Settsu and head southeast on Route 170. Continue for about 15 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Route 1. Merge onto Route 1 and follow the signs toward Kyoto. After approximately 5 kilometers, take the exit for Fushimi Ward. Follow the local signs directing you to Daigogarancho, where Bentendo Temple is located. There is parking available near the temple, which may incur a small fee, usually around 500 yen.

    To reach Bentendo Temple using public transportation, start by taking the JR Gakkentoshi Line from Settsu Station to Yamashina Station (approximately 15 minutes).
