Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in the main area of Black River, start by heading towards the Black River bus terminal. Once there, look for signs indicating the route to the main road (Route A3). Walk towards the A3 road, which is approximately a 15-minute walk from the bus terminal. After reaching Route A3, you can either follow it towards the north or catch a local bus heading to Montego Bay. If you choose to walk, continue along Route A3 until you reach the intersection with the A1 road. Turn left onto A1 and follow this road for about 15-20 minutes until you see signs for Montego Bay. You'll then need to take a bus or taxi to Austin Avenue.

• Local Bus

  From your location in Black River, walk to the local bus stop near the Black River bus terminal. Look for a bus heading towards Montego Bay and ask the driver to drop you off at the closest point to Austin Avenue. The bus ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Montego Bay, ask locals for directions to Austin Avenue, which is a well-known street. It's about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop to 28 Austin Ave.

• Taxi

  To reach Austin Avenue quickly, you can hire a taxi from Black River. Head to a nearby taxi stand, or ask your hotel or accommodation to call one for you. When you get into the taxi, tell the driver to take you to 28 Austin Ave in Montego Bay. The journey will take around 30 minutes, depending on traffic.
