Getting There

    If you're starting from the Many Glacier area, begin your hike by taking the Swiftcurrent Pass Trail. Follow the trail for about 3 miles until you reach the junction with the Grinnell Glacier Trail. At the junction, continue to follow the Grinnell Glacier Trail for approximately 2.5 miles until you reach the Grinnell Glacier overlook. From here, you will have breathtaking views of the glacier and the surrounding area. To head towards Jackson Glacier Overlook, retrace your steps back to the junction and then take the Highline Trail heading west. This trail will lead you towards the Logan Pass area. Continue on the Highline Trail for about 4 miles until you reach the Logan Pass Visitor Center. From the visitor center, look for signs directing you to the Jackson Glacier Overlook, which is about 1.5 miles away. This part of the hike will offer stunning views of the surrounding peaks and valleys.
