If you are starting from the St. Mary Visitor Center, head east on the St. Mary Falls Trail. The trailhead is located just behind the visitor center. Follow the well-marked trail for approximately 0.6 miles (1 km) to reach Saint Mary Falls. The trail is relatively easy to navigate and will lead you through beautiful forests and scenic views.

If you are coming from the Many Glacier area, take the Swiftcurrent Trail. Hike for about 6 miles (9.7 km) to the junction with the St. Mary Falls Trail. Turn left and continue on the St. Mary Falls Trail for another 0.6 miles (1 km) to reach the falls. This route will take you through stunning landscapes, so be sure to take your time and enjoy the views.
