The Geographical Center of Austria is located in the Kurpark in the center of Bad Aussee. From most points in the town center, it is easily accessible by foot. Follow signs towards the Kurpark. The stone monument marking the center is located within the park, near a statue of Archduke Johann.

Public Transport
If arriving by train or bus at Bad Aussee Bahnhof, you can reach the town center and Kurpark by local bus or taxi. Alternatively, it's approximately a 15-20 minute walk from the Bahnhof to the Kurpark. From the Bad Aussee Postamt bus stop, it is a short walk to the Kurpark. Bus tickets can be purchased on board or at the station. A short taxi ride from the station to the Kurpark will cost approximately €8-€11.

If arriving by car, there are several parking options in Bad Aussee. There are about 700 public parking spaces available in the town center. Parking is available at Gimpelinsel and Altausseer Straße. Short-term parking zones are available for €0.50 per 30 minutes, with a maximum duration of 2 hours. Daily parking tickets cost €6. Follow local signs to parking areas and the Kurpark.
