Driving
If arriving by car, Hampton Beach State Park is accessible via Route 1A (Ocean Boulevard). From I-95, take either Route 101 or 286 to reach Route 1A. Parking is available at the South Beach area of Hampton Beach State Park. During the summer months, parking is $15 per vehicle. Keep in mind that RVs will be charged $30 as they require two parking spaces. Reservations are recommended during peak season.
Public Transport
For those using public transportation, the C&J Bus line offers service to Portsmouth, NH, from Boston. From Portsmouth, you can connect to Hampton Beach via local bus routes. Alternatively, the MBTA Commuter Rail provides train service from Boston's North Station to Newburyport. From Newburyport, you can take a connecting bus to Hampton Beach. Bus tickets from Boston to Portsmouth range from $15-$27. Train tickets from Boston to Newburyport range from $4-$13. Local bus fares vary.
