Driving
From I-95, take the exit for Route 101 East. Follow Route 101 until it merges with Route 1A (Ocean Boulevard). Continue on Route 1A North. North Hampton State Beach will be on your right. Parking is metered and available along Route 1A. Parking costs $2 per hour from May 1st to September 30th and $1 per hour from October 1st to April 30th.
Public Transport
The COAST bus route may offer service to the North Hampton area, but it may not bring you directly to the beach. Check the COAST website for schedules and stops. From a COAST bus stop, you may need to walk or take a short taxi or ride-share to reach North Hampton State Beach. Bus fares vary depending on the route and distance.
Walking
If you are staying in North Hampton or the nearby Little Boar's Head area, walking to the beach is a pleasant option. Follow Ocean Boulevard (Route 1A) towards the beach. Be mindful of traffic as you walk along the road. There are sidewalks in some areas. The walk from Little Boar's Head is approximately 1 mile.
