Getting There

  • Walking

    From the central area of Puerto Ayora, walk towards the main dock area and Avenida Charles Darwin. Continue along Avenida Charles Darwin until you reach Calle de la Aventura. Turn right onto Calle de la Aventura, continue straight, and you will see signs for Galapagos Frontier. The preserve is located in Guayabillos, a short walk from there. The walk is approximately 7km and should take around 1.5 hours.

  • Public Transport

    From the center of Puerto Ayora, walk to the main bus stop near the dock. Look for a bus heading to Guayabillos. Buses run regularly throughout the day. Stay on the bus until you reach the Guayabillos stop. From there, follow the signs to Galapagos Frontier, which is about a 5-minute walk. The bus fare is inexpensive. A bus is available at 13:10.

  • Taxi

    Taxis are readily available near the main dock area of Puerto Ayora. Inform the driver you want to go to Galapagos Frontier in Guayabillos. The ride takes approximately 15 minutes from Puerto Ayora. A taxi to Galapagos Frontier will cost around $25. Confirm the rate before starting your trip.
