If you're traveling by car, head towards Higashiyama Ward in Kyoto. Use your GPS to navigate to 1 Chome-317 Kiyomizu, Kyoto, 605-0862. From central Kyoto, take the Kamo River Road (R1) south towards Kiyomizu-dera. Once you reach Kiyomizu-dera, there is limited parking available nearby, but you may need to park at one of the designated public parking lots. The shrine is located just a short walk from Kiyomizu-dera, making it easily accessible.

To reach Jishu Shrine using public transportation, take the Kyoto City Bus to Kiyomizu-dera. Buses #100 or #206 from Kyoto Station will take you directly to the Kiyomizu-michi bus stop. The fare is approximately 230 yen. Upon arrival, follow the signs to Kiyomizu-dera, which is about a 10-minute walk uphill. Jishu Shrine is located adjacent to Kiyomizu-dera, so you'll find it easily once you arrive.

After reaching Kiyomizu-dera, exit the temple grounds and head towards the path that leads to Jishu Shrine. It's a short and enjoyable walk of about 5-10 minutes.
