At Tofuku-ji Station, transfer to the Keihan Main Line and take a train towards Demachiyanagi, getting off at Kiyomizu-Gojo Station. From there, you can either walk (about 20 minutes) or take a bus (Keihan Bus #100 or #206) directly to Kiyomizu-dera. The bus fare is typically around 230 yen one way.

    If you are driving, head towards the city center of Kyoto. Follow signs for Higashiyama and Kiyomizu-dera. The address is 1 Chome-294 Kiyomizu, Higashiyama Ward, Kyoto, 605-0862. Parking is available at the Kiyomizu-dera parking lot, but it can fill up quickly during peak tourist seasons. Expect to pay around 1,000 yen for parking.
