For public transportation, take a bus from any central location in Kyoto to Kiyomizu-dera. The Kyoto City Bus #100, #206, or #18 will take you to Kiyomizu-dera bus stop. The fare is approximately 230 yen. From the bus stop, it's a 10-minute walk to Kiyomizuzaka. Follow the signs towards Kiyomizu-dera; you will see Kiyomizuzaka as you approach the temple.

If you prefer to travel by train, take the JR Nara Line to Tofuku-ji Station. From there, transfer to the Keihan Main Line and get off at Kiyomizu-Gojo Station. The fare for this trip is around 400 yen. Once you arrive at Kiyomizu-Gojo Station, it's about a 20-minute walk to Kiyomizuzaka. Head north on Gojo Street until you reach Kiyomizu-dera, and you will find Kiyomizuzaka nearby.
