Getting There

Car
If you are driving from central Kyoto, take the Route 1 (also known as the Kyoto City Loop Road) southbound. Follow the signs towards Kiyomizu-dera and Higashiyama. After about 30 minutes (approximately 15 km), you will arrive at the intersection near Kiyomizu-dera. Turn right onto Kiyomizu-zaka Street, which leads directly to Kurimitsuinarisha. There is limited parking available nearby, so be sure to look for designated parking areas.

Public Transportation
From Kyoto Station, take the JR Nara Line to Tofukuji Station (about 5 minutes). Transfer to the Keihan Main Line at Tofukuji Station and take the train towards Demachiyanagi. Get off at Kiyomizu-Gojo Station (about 10 minutes). From Kiyomizu-Gojo Station, it is a 15-minute walk to Kurimitsuinarisha. Exit the station and head east on Gojo Street, then turn left onto Kiyomizu-zaka Street, which will take you directly to the shrine.
