If you are starting from Kyoto Station, take the Karasuma Subway Line from Kyoto Station towards Kitayama. Alight at Karasuma Oike Station (about 5 stops). Transfer to the Tozai Subway Line towards Uzumasa Tenjingawa. Get off at Nijo Station (2 stops). From Nijo Station, exit at the 1st exit, and walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the Kyoto International Manga Museum, located at 452 Kinbukicho, Nakagyo Ward.

If you are in the vicinity of Nijo Castle, exit the castle grounds and head south on Nijo-dori Street. Continue walking straight for about 15 minutes. You will pass through several small shops and cafes. The Kyoto International Manga Museum will be on your right side at 452 Kinbukicho, Nakagyo Ward.

From the Gion area, take bus number 100 or 206 from Gion bus stop towards Kyoto Station. Get off at the 'Karasuma Oike' bus stop (about 5 stops). From there, walk north on Karasuma-dori Street for about 5 minutes. The Kyoto International Manga Museum will be on your left at 452 Kinbukicho, Nakagyo Ward.

If you are renting a bicycle, exit the rental shop and head towards Shijo-dori. Turn right and ride westward on Shijo-dori for about 1.5 km until you reach Karasuma-dori.
