    If you are in the heart of Gion, a great way to reach Ishibe Kōji Road is by walking. Start from Shijo Avenue (Shijo-dori), which is a major street in Gion. Head east towards Hanamikoji Street, known for its traditional wooden machiya houses. Continue walking along Hanamikoji until you reach the intersection with Shimbashi-dori. Turn left onto Shimbashi-dori, and after a few minutes, you will arrive at Ishibe Kōji Road, which is just off Shimbashi-dori. Look for the small alleyway to your right leading to Ishibe Kōji Road. The total walking distance is about 10 minutes.
