Getting There

Bus
If you're in Nara, start by heading to the Nara Kintetsu Station (Kintetsu Nara Station). From there, board the Kintetsu Limited Express train towards Kyoto. It will take approximately 45 minutes to reach Kyoto Station. Once you arrive at Kyoto Station, exit and find the bus terminal. Look for bus number 205, which will take you directly to Nishiki Market. Get off at the Nishiki Market bus stop, which is a short walk from Nishiki Tenmangu Shrine. The shrine is located at 537 Nakanocho, Nakagyo Ward, just a 5-minute walk from the market.

From Nara, make your way to Nara Station. Board the JR Yamatoji Line towards Kyoto Station. The journey will take about 45 minutes. Once you arrive at Kyoto Station, transfer to the subway. Take the Karasuma Line from Kyoto Station and travel to Shijo Station. From Shijo Station, take Exit 1 and walk straight until you reach Nishiki Market. Nishiki Tenmangu Shrine is just a short walk from the market, located at 537 Nakanocho, Nakagyo Ward.
