    From Nara Station, take the JR Nara Line towards Kyoto. You will need to travel for about 45 minutes until you reach Uji Station. Once you arrive at Uji Station, exit the station and turn right. Walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with the main road. At the intersection, continue straight for another 5 minutes, and you will see the Tale of Genji Museum on your left at Higashiuchi-45-26.

    From Nara, head to the Nara Bus Terminal, which is located near Nara Park. Board the bus for Uji, which should be clearly marked. The bus ride will take approximately 1 hour. Get off at the Uji City Hall stop. From there, walk straight for about 8 minutes along the main road, and you will find the Tale of Genji Museum at Higashiuchi-45-26 on your right.

    If you're starting from the Naramachi area, walk to Kintetsu Nara Station (about 15 minutes). From Kintetsu Nara Station, take the Kintetsu Nara Line to Uji Station.
