Walking
From St. Peter's Basilica, exit the basilica and head towards the main entrance. Once outside, turn right and walk along the Via della Conciliazione, which leads you away from the basilica. Continue straight for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Via dei Fori Imperiali. At this intersection, you will see the Colosseum ahead. Turn left onto Via dei Fori Imperiali and continue walking until you reach the Circus Maximus, which will be on your left.

Public Transport (Bus)
From St. Peter's Basilica, exit and head towards the nearest bus stop located on Via della Conciliazione. Board the Bus Line 64 towards Stazione Termini. After about 10 stops (approximately 20 minutes), get off at the stop 'Largo di Torre Argentina'. From there, walk towards Via dei Fori Imperiali, and continue walking straight until you see Circus Maximus on your left.

Public Transport (Metro)
Exit St. Peter's Basilica and walk to the nearest metro station, Ottaviano, which is about a 15-minute walk. From the basilica, head north on Via di Porta Angelica, then turn left onto Via Ottaviano. Once you reach the Ottaviano metro station, take Metro Line A towards Anagnina. Change at Termini station to Metro Line B towards Laurentina. Get off at the Circo Massimo station, which is the closest metro stop to Circus Maximus.
