    If you are already in Higashiyama, you can easily walk to Higashiyama Jisho-ji (Ginkaku-ji). Begin at the nearest major landmark, such as the Philosopher's Path or Nanzen-ji Temple. From the Philosopher's Path, head north and follow the path until you reach Ginkaku-ji. This walk takes approximately 20-30 minutes and is very scenic. If you start from Nanzen-ji, head north along the main road and look for signs directing you to Ginkaku-ji.
