Bus

If you're starting from Kyoto Station, take bus number 100 or 206 from the bus terminal in front of the station. The ride will take approximately 40 minutes. Get off at the Ginkaku-ji (Silver Pavilion) stop. From the bus stop, head north along the road for about 5-10 minutes until you reach Higashiyama Jisho-ji, which will be on your right.
Subway and Walk

From Kyoto Station, take the Karasuma Subway Line to Kitayama Station. This journey takes about 25 minutes. Once you arrive at Kitayama Station, take Exit 1 and walk north on the main road. After about a 15-minute walk, you will arrive at Higashiyama Jisho-ji, located at 2 Ginkakujicho, Sakyo Ward, Kyoto.
