    If you are driving from Nara City, take Route 24 towards Kyoto. After about 30 minutes, merge onto Route 163 towards Ujitawara. Continue on Route 163 for approximately 10 minutes until you reach Ujitawara. Look for signs directing you to Kawakami-149 Okuyamada. The Shoju-in (Furin-ji) temple will be on your right. There is parking available nearby.
