Public Transport
From Kyoto Station, take the Kyoto City Subway Karasuma Line to Karasuma Oike Station, then transfer to the Tozai Line and get off at Higashiyama Station. Miyako Messe is an 8-minute walk from the station. Alternatively, from Kyoto Station Bus Terminal, take Kyoto City Bus Route 5 or 100 and get off at Okazaki Koen/Bijutsukan, Heian Jingu-mae bus stop. The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes. The subway fare is between ¥220-360. The bus fare is ¥230 for adults and ¥120 for children within the city center.

Taxi
Taxis are readily available throughout Kyoto. From Kyoto Station, a taxi ride to Miyako Messe typically costs between ¥2,090 depending on traffic. The journey takes approximately 15-20 minutes. Taxi fares start at ¥500 for the first kilometer, with additional charges of ¥100 for every 279 meters.

Walking
From Heian Shrine, Miyako Messe is a short walk. Exit the shrine and walk west along Nijo-dori Street. The exhibition hall will be on your left. The walk is approximately 5-10 minutes. There are no tolls or special access fees for walking.
