Walking
From the center of St. Peter's Square, head towards the main entrance of St. Peter's Basilica. Once you reach the basilica, walk to your right along the colonnade. Continue along Via della Conciliazione until you reach the Tiber River. Cross the river using the Ponte Sant'Angelo bridge. After crossing, turn left and walk along the riverbank on Lungotevere in Augusta. The Ara Pacis Museum will be on your left after a short walk.

From St. Peter's Square, exit towards the right side of the basilica and head along Via della Conciliazione. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout (Piazza della Rovere). At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Via di Monte Savello. Continue straight until you reach the Tiber River. Turn right to follow the riverbank, and after a few minutes, you will see the Ara Pacis Museum on your left.

From St. Peter's Square, walk to the nearest bus stop at Piazza San Pietro. Take bus number 81 towards 'Piazza Venezia' and get off at the 'Chiesa Nuova' stop. From there, walk along Corso Vittorio Emanuele II until you reach Piazza Navona. Continue straight until you reach Lungotevere in Augusta. The Ara Pacis Museum will be on your right.
