    Public Transport

    From St. Peter's Square, walk towards the nearest bus stop located at 'P.za San Giovanni in Laterano'. This should take about 10-15 minutes on foot. Once you reach the bus stop, take bus number 75 towards 'P.za San Giovanni in Laterano'. Ride the bus until you arrive at 'Tivoli'. The journey should take approximately 1 hour. From the Tivoli bus station, it's about a 15-minute walk to Villa d'Este. Head down Via Roma, then take a left onto Via Trento, and you'll find Villa d'Este at P.za Trento, 5.

    Train

    From St. Peter's Square, walk to the nearest metro station, 'Ottaviano'. Take Line A towards 'Anagnina'. Transfer at 'Termini' station to Line B towards 'P. Tiburtina'. Get off at 'Tivoli' station. The train ride will take about 30 minutes. From Tivoli station, walk about 20 minutes to Villa d'Este. Exit the station and head towards Via Roma, then turn right onto Via Trento, and you'll reach your destination at P.za Trento, 5.

    Walking

    If you prefer a scenic route, you can walk to Villa d'Este, but be prepared for a long journey. Start from St. Peter's Square and head towards the Tiber River. Follow the riverbank towards the east until you reach the Ponte di Nona. Cross the bridge and continue straight onto Via Tiburtina.
