Walking
From St. Peter's Square, head towards the colonnade that surrounds the square. Walk towards the exit near the Basilica. Once you reach the end of the colonnade, go straight onto Via della Conciliazione. Continue walking straight until you reach the Tiber River. At the river, turn left onto Lungotevere in Sassia. Keep walking along the river until you reach the next bridge, Ponte Sant'Angelo. Cross the bridge and continue straight onto Via di Ponte Sant'Angelo. Follow this road until you reach the intersection with Via dei Banchi Nuovi, then turn right onto Via dei Banchi Nuovi. After a short walk, turn left onto Corso Vittorio Emanuele II, and continue straight. After several blocks, turn right onto Via delle Belle Arti. Villa Borghese will be on your left.

Public Transport (Bus)
From St. Peter's Square, walk to the nearest bus stop at Via della Conciliazione, which is just outside the square. Look for bus line 64, which travels through Rome. Board the bus in the direction of the Termini Station. After approximately 10 stops, get off at the stop called 'Piazza San Silvestro'. From there, walk straight onto Via del Corso and continue until you reach the intersection with Via delle Belle Arti. Turn left, and Villa Borghese will be on your left.
