    From St. Peter's Square, head towards the entrance of St. Peter's Basilica and exit the square. Walk straight down Via della Conciliazione, which will take you away from the Basilica. Continue walking for about 1.2 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Via della Domus Aurea. Turn left onto Via della Domus Aurea. The Domus Aurea will be on your right, marked with signs for the archaeological site.

    From St. Peter's Square, walk to the nearest bus stop located on Via della Conciliazione. Take bus number 40 or 64, which travels towards Termini Station. After approximately 15 minutes, get off at the 'Colosseo' stop. From there, walk towards Via della Domus Aurea, which is approximately a 10-minute walk. The Domus Aurea will be on your left.

    If you prefer a scenic route, from St. Peter's Square, walk to the Tiber River and follow the riverside path. After about 1 kilometer, cross the river using the Ponte Palatino bridge. Continue straight and follow the signs towards the Colosseum. Once you reach the Colosseum, head to the left side and walk towards Via della Domus Aurea, which is a short distance away.
