Getting There

    From the center of St. Peter's Square, head towards the grand staircase leading up to St. Peter's Basilica. Once you reach the top of the staircase, turn left at the colonnade and exit through the left side of the square. Continue walking straight until you reach a large intersection. At the intersection, turn right onto Via della Conciliazione. Walk along this street for approximately 10 minutes until you reach the Tiber River. Just before crossing the river, you will see Ponte Fabricio on your left, which is the beautiful bridge you are looking for.

    If you find yourself near the Vatican Museums after your visit, exit the Museums and turn right onto Viale Vaticano. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Via della Conciliazione. Turn left onto Via della Conciliazione and continue walking until you arrive at the Tiber River. Ponte Fabricio will be located on your left side, just before the river. It should take you about 15 minutes to walk from the Museums to the bridge.
