Getting There

  • Walking

    From St. Peter's Square, head towards the main entrance of St. Peter's Basilica. After exiting the basilica, turn left and walk towards the colonnade. Continue straight until you reach the end of the square. You will see Via della Conciliazione ahead of you. Cross the street and keep walking straight. After a few minutes, you will reach the Tiber River. Once you reach the river, turn right and follow the riverbank until you come to the Ponte Cavour (Cavour Bridge). Cross the bridge and continue straight until you reach Piazza Cavour. The destination, Prati, will be in the area around the square.

  • Public Transportation

    While public transport is generally not needed for such a short distance, you can take a bus. From St. Peter's Square, walk to the nearest bus stop at the corner of Via della Conciliazione and Via di Porta Castello. Take bus line 23 or 280 towards 'Piazza Cavour' and disembark at the stop 'Piazza Cavour'. The area of Prati is just a short walk from the bus stop.
