Walking
From the Vatican Museums, exit the museum and head towards the entrance gate. Once outside, walk straight down Viale Vaticano until you reach the Metro station 'Ottaviano'. Take Line A (the orange line) towards 'Anagnina'. After about 9 stops, get off at the 'Cinecittà' station. From there, transfer to Bus 558 at the bus stop located outside the station, and take it towards 'Appia Nuova'. Get off at 'Appia Nuova/Capannelle', which is about a 10-minute ride. Finally, walk for about 5 minutes on Via Appia Nuova, and you will arrive at Capannelle Racecourse.
Bus
Exit the Vatican Museums and head towards the nearest bus stop, which is located on Viale Vaticano. Take Bus 81 towards 'S. Giovanni'. After about 8 stops, get off at 'Termini'. From Termini, transfer to Bus 659 towards 'Capannelle'. After about 15 minutes, get off at 'Appia Nuova/Capannelle'. Walk about 5 minutes along Via Appia Nuova, and you will find Capannelle Racecourse.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from the Vatican Museums to Capannelle Racecourse. Simply exit the museum and find a taxi stand nearby. Inform the driver that you want to go to 'Via Appia Nuova, 1245'. The ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic.
