Walking
Start at the exit of the Vatican Museums. Turn left and walk towards the entrance to the Vatican City. Follow the signs to St. Peter's Basilica, which is just a short walk away. From St. Peter's Basilica, head to the nearest bus stop, which is located on Via della Conciliazione. Take bus number 870 towards 'Tivoli' and enjoy the scenic ride. After about 35 minutes, get off at the 'Tivoli' stop. From there, you will need to walk to Largo Marguerite Yourcenar. Head east on Via Roma, then continue onto Via del Trevio, which will lead you directly to the entrance of Hadrian's Villa.

From the Vatican Museums, walk to the nearest metro station 'Ottaviano' on Line A. Take the metro towards 'Anagnina' and get off at 'Termini' station. Transfer to Metro Line B and take it to 'Ponte Mammolo'. From Ponte Mammolo, exit the station and find the bus stop for bus number 100. Take bus number 100 towards 'Tivoli'. After approximately 40 minutes, get off at 'Tivoli' station. From there, it is about a 15-minute walk to Largo Marguerite Yourcenar. Head east on Via Roma, then continue onto Via del Trevio to reach Hadrian's Villa.
