Walking
From the Vatican Museums, exit the museums and head towards Viale Vaticano. Once you reach Viale Vaticano, turn left and walk towards the Ottaviano metro station. Go to the metro station and take Line A (the orange line) towards Anagnina. Get off at the third stop, which is Termini. At Termini, transfer to Line FL1, which is a regional train line. Take the train towards Orte and get off at Santa Severa station. From the train station, walk straight for about 15 minutes until you reach the Santa Severa Castle, which is located on SS1 Km 52.

From the Vatican Museums, walk to the nearest metro station, Ottaviano. Board Metro Line A (the orange line) towards Anagnina. Change trains at Termini and take the FL1 regional train towards Orte. Alight at Santa Severa station. Upon exiting the station, follow the signs for Santa Severa Castle. It’s a 15-minute walk from the station to the castle along SS1 Km 52.
