Car
If you are driving, start from Kyoto Station. Head northeast on Karasuma-dori and take the ramp onto the Kyoto Inner Route. Merge onto the Higashi Yama Expressway, then take Exit 1 towards Nanzenji. Follow signs for Nanzenji and turn left onto Nanzenji Kusakawacho. Continue on this road for about 1 kilometer; Murinan Garden will be on your left at 31 Nanzenji Kusakawacho.

Take the Kyoto City Bus #100 or #204 from Kyoto Station. Ride for about 30 minutes and get off at the Nanzenji Eikando-michi stop. From there, walk about 10 minutes towards Nanzenji Temple. Follow the signs towards Nanzenji Kusakawacho, and you will find Murinan Garden located at 31 Nanzenji Kusakawacho, on your left.
