Car
If you are driving, start from central Kyoto and head southeast on Route 1 toward Yamashina. Continue on Route 1 until you reach the intersection with Route 317. Turn left onto Route 317 and follow the signs for Yamashina. After about 5 km, turn right onto Zushiokukachocho. Shogunzuka Mound will be on your left at 28 Zushiokukachocho. There is limited parking available near the mound.

Public Transportation - Train and Bus
From Kyoto Station, take the JR Tokaido Line to Yamashina Station (approximately 10 minutes). Once you arrive at Yamashina Station, exit the station and take the bus number 205 or 206 towards Zushiokukacho. Alight at the Zushiokukacho bus stop. From there, it's a 10-minute walk to Shogunzuka Mound located at 28 Zushiokukachocho. The bus fare will be around 230 yen.

If you are nearby or have arrived at the Zushiokukacho bus stop, you can walk to Shogunzuka Mound. Head south on Zushiokukachocho for about 700 meters. The mound will be on your left. The walk should take approximately 10 minutes and is relatively flat, making it an easy stroll.
