From Kyoto Station, take the Karasuma Subway Line to Shijo Station. Transfer to the Hankyu-Kyoto Line and ride to Kawaramachi Station. From there, it's approximately a 10-minute walk to Kyoto Kimono Rental Rei. The subway fare is approximately ¥220-360. The Hankyu Kyoto Line is around ¥150-200. Consider purchasing a Kyoto Subway and Bus One-Day Pass for ¥1,100 if you plan to use public transport extensively.

From Gion-Shijo Station (Keihan Line), walk west along Shijo-dori Avenue, then turn north onto Hanamikoji Street. Continue north, then turn west onto Umemotocho. Kyoto Kimono Rental Rei will be on your left, on the fifth floor of the Prestige Gion building. The walk is approximately 10 minutes. This is a free option.
