If you are travelling by car, start from the centre of Hertfordshire. Head towards the A1(M) and take the exit towards the A501. Continue on the A501 (City Road) and follow the signs for Central London. As you approach London, merge onto the A3204 (Westminster Bridge Road). Follow this road until you reach the roundabout with the A302. Take the second exit onto the A302 (Parliament Square) and then take a left onto Whitehall. Continue straight until you reach Trafalgar Square, then follow the signs towards The Mall and turn onto the A3214. Carlton Gardens will be on your left, where you'll find the Charles De Gaulle Statue. There is limited parking available in the area, so be on the lookout for designated parking spaces.

To reach Charles De Gaulle Statue using public transportation, take a train from your nearest station in Hertfordshire to London Kings Cross or St Pancras International. Once in London, transfer to the London Underground and take the Piccadilly Line towards Cockfosters. Alight at Leicester Square station. From there, take the Northern Line towards Morden and alight at Charing Cross station. Exit the station and walk towards Trafalgar Square. From Trafalgar Square, head towards The Mall and turn onto the A3214, where you will find Carlton Gardens on your left. The Charles De Gaulle Statue is located within Carlton Gardens.
