    From Kyoto Station, take the Kyoto City Bus number 204 or 205 heading towards 'Kitaoji Bus Terminal'. Ride for about 25 minutes and get off at the 'Kyoto University' stop. From there, walk approximately 10 minutes northeast along Yoshida-suji Avenue until you reach the intersection with Tanaka Kamiyanagicho. Turn left, and Kōfuku-ji Temple will be on your right.

    Take the Karasuma Subway Line from Kyoto Station to Karasuma Oike Station. Transfer to the Tozai Line and ride to the 'Keage' Station. Exit the station and walk east on Keage Station Street for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Tanaka Kamiyanagicho. Turn right, and Kōfuku-ji Temple will be on your left.
