From Nara Station, take the Kintetsu Nara Line train to Yamato-Saidaiji Station. Transfer to the Kyoto-bound bus at the station bus terminal, and take the bus to Shimogamo Shrine. Once you get off, it's a short 10-minute walk to the Old Mitsui Family Shimogamo Villa. Follow the signs towards Shimogamo Shrine, and the villa will be located within the vicinity.

Start at Nara Park and walk to Kintetsu Nara Station. Board the Kintetsu Nara Line train towards Kyoto. Disembark at Demachiyanagi Station. From there, transfer to the Kyoto City Bus (Line 204 or 205) and get off at Shimogamo Shrine. The Old Mitsui Family Shimogamo Villa is a short walk from the bus stop, just follow the signs to the villa.
