Walking
To reach the Back Bay Fens from downtown Lawrence, start at Massachusetts Street, which is the main shopping and dining area. Head east towards 6th Street and turn left to head north. Continue until you reach the intersection with 9th Street. Turn right onto 9th Street and walk straight until you reach the intersection with New Hampshire Street. Turn left onto New Hampshire Street and continue heading north. Follow New Hampshire Street until you hit the intersection with 11th Street, then turn right. Continue on 11th Street until you reach the end of the block, where you will find the entrance to the park.

Bicycle
If you prefer biking, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops on Massachusetts Street. Start by heading north on New Hampshire Street from 9th Street. After about 0.5 miles, you will reach the intersection with 11th Street. Turn right and continue until you reach the entrance of the Back Bay Fens. The bike path is well marked, making it easy to navigate through the city.

To get to the Back Bay Fens via public transport, find the nearest bus stop on Massachusetts Street. Catch the bus that heads towards Lawrence Transit Center. From the Transit Center, transfer to a bus that goes towards the Fenway–Kenmore area. The closest stop to the park will be on Park Drive. Once you get off the bus, walk approximately 5 minutes east along Park Drive to reach the entrance of the Back Bay Fens.
