Walking
If you're starting from downtown Lawrence, head east on Massachusetts Street. Continue straight until you reach 9th Street, then turn left. Walk north on 9th Street until you reach the intersection with New Hampshire Street. Continue straight onto New Hampshire Street, which will turn into 6th Street. Follow 6th Street until you reach the Lawrence Transit Center. From there, take the bus heading towards Kansas City, which will drop you at the nearest stop for a connecting bus that can take you towards the USS Constitution Museum.

Start at the Lawrence Public Library. From the library, walk to the nearest bus stop on 7th Street. Take the KU on Wheels bus route 36 (East 19th) towards the Kansas Union. Exit at the Kansas Union stop, walk to the nearest bus stop, and transfer to the Lawrence Transit bus that goes towards Kansas City. This bus will take you to the closest stop for a transfer to a bus heading toward Charlestown, where the USS Constitution Museum is located.
