Getting There

• Walking

  If you are near the center of Lawrence, head east on Massachusetts Street toward 11th Street. Continue straight until you reach 11th Street, then turn left and walk north. Continue walking until you reach the intersection of 11th Street and Kentucky Street. Turn right onto Kentucky Street and continue until you reach 15th Street. At 15th Street, turn left and walk until you reach the intersection with Iowa Street. Turn right onto Iowa Street and keep walking until you reach the Lawrence Bus Station. From there, you can take a bus to Boston, but it is recommended to check the local bus schedule for routes to Franklin Park Zoo.

• Public Transport

  Start by walking to the nearest bus stop. You can use the Lawrence Public Transit website or app to find the closest stop. Once at the bus stop, take the Route 11 bus towards the Lawrence Bus Station. After arriving at the bus station, check for a bus service to Boston. The bus ride will take you to the vicinity of Franklin Park Zoo. Once you arrive at the stop closest to the zoo, follow the signs or ask locals for directions to 1 Franklin Park Rd, which is just a short walk away.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer biking, rent a bike from one of the local bike rental stations in Lawrence. Begin your ride by heading east on Massachusetts Street. Continue onto 11th Street, then take a left onto Kentucky Street. Ride straight until you reach 15th Street, then turn left. Continue straight until you intersect with Iowa Street, where you will turn right. Follow Iowa Street all the way to the Lawrence Bus Station, where you can find a bus route to Boston.
